The Heritage Quilts Committee is resposible for documentation days when the MPQ members have an opportunity to bring in their heritage/current quilts to be documented, photographed, and a file kept regarding the details, providing us with a history of quilt making in Manitoba. We try to have a documentation day once per year, usually around March. Basically, we are trying to record the history of the quilts found and made in Manitoba. The files are currently housed at the Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library, and are easily accessible to everyone.
Any questions may be directed to the webmaster, who will then refer them to the committee chair.
