Shirley Nicholson - Member At Large

I took a quilting class with my mother in the early 70's, but I did not have time to pursue the hobby (i was raising three young children at the time). I then took my next class from Anne Morrison at Harris Sewing centre in 1991. I joined MPQ in February of 1992 and the rest is history. I have been a continuous member of MPQ since that time.I volunteered for Hospitality when I first joined MPQ and was on that committee for 2 years. I have been on many quilt show committees, in various capacities, which I have sincerely enjoyed. I have now retired for the second time and I look forward to finishing many UFOs as well as supporting my guild in the position of Member-at-Large.
